Rock Out with Rock of Ages, That’s My Boy and Your Sister’s Sister

Headlining theaters this weekend is the Hollywood adaptation of the Broadway hit, Rock of Ages. Rock out with your favorite hair metal hits, all the glam rock you can handle, and your favorite front man, Tom Cruise. This classic Hollywood tale of love, dreams of stardom, and the harsh realties of fame makes us crazy for the 80s again.  Looking for other movies that rock?  Look no further than Fanhattan’s epic “Rock Out” movie list!  Just fire up the app and select the panel located to the left of “Stay In.”

Adam Sandler returns to his comedy roots in That’s My Boy. Sandler is joined by SNL’s recently retired Andy Samberg, who plays Sandler’s son, though in reality their age gap is a short twelve years. But hey, they had to make the plot believable somehow, right?

Also in theaters is Your Sister’s Sister, with Emily Blunt, Rosemarie DeWitt and Mark Duplass. The story is simple, yet complicated. The concept of two sisters vying for the same guy may sound played out, but the film puts a spin on the typical situation: the sisters actually care about each other.
