Bloody good news came out of Comic-Con today with the announcement that the Mortal Kombat: Legacy series will return for a second season. Evolved from the classic and controversially violent Mortal Kombat video game series, the first season of Mortal Kombat: Legacy followed the game’s revered characters during the build up to the tenth Mortal Kombat Tournament.
The second season will feature the tournament itself! According to series director Kevin Tancharoen, the tournament setting will allow for a better showcase of the brutal one-on-one combat that is the hallmark of the MK cannon. Below, the humorous preview from Tancharoen himself will prepare you for the new season and will definitively answer the all important question: which of your favorite characters will be featured this season? Will ‘Sub-Zero’ make the cut?
