This weekend Batman and Spidey weren’t the only superheroes to get some action. Director Zach Snyder finally released the first visuals from his Superman reboot, Man of Steel. While the teaser gives little away about the plot, it does set the tone for the story. Much like his other work, Snyder’s vision is highly stylized and gritty, a welcome departure from the Superman films of ol’.
Now, you may be a purist when it comes to Christopher Reeve and his portrayal of Kal-EL, but keep in mind, this film has another Christopher on board, one who we know you approve of. That’s right, none other than Christopher Nolan penned and produced the film. While we love OG Clark Kent, we were pleasantly surprised by this glimpse of the new one, and look forward to this re-imagining of the tale by two of the genres most acclaimed minds.
