Once Upon a Time premiered on Sunday, September 30 on ABC and brought us back into the world of fairy tale characters like Snow White, Red Riding Hood and Prince Charming. At the end of last season, magic came to Storybrooke in the form of a giant cloud of purple smoke, and all the refugees from the Evil Queen’s (Lana Parilla) spell now remember who they really are. Emma’s (Jennifer Morrison) parents Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming (Josh Dallas) realize who she is and try a little familial bonding. (The best moment of the night was Snow realizing she and her daughter had chatted about one night stands.) But when a creature from Fairy Land breaks through and tries to kill Regina, their attempts to save her (at the urging of Henry, played by Jared Gilmore) backfires and shoots Emma and Snow to the other side.
I got a chance to chat with Morrison about what’s coming in Episode 2, and what we’re going to see in the rest of the season. Morrison reveals not only what’s coming, but exactly when we’ll learn who Henry’s father is and if she is indeed a fairy tale character. Check out what she has to say. Once Upon a Time returns to ABC on Sunday, October 7.
